Students must be 5 years-old by September 1 to participate. A 10% sibling discount is available for full-time students.
The primary focus in our program is supporting children’s healthy social and emotional development. We support the development of social and emotional skills through play with an emphasis on developing friendship skills, emotional literacy, emotional regulation, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
Play is the primary way we learn in our younger classroom. Our environment is set up to support exploration covering a variety of math, literacy, and science topics. Most of our day is spent in child selected learning.
We strive to promote a lifelong love of learning through play, connection, exploration, and community.
Our gathering times focus on connection and peer relationships. During gatherings, we sing songs, read stories, play group games, and have group conversations about children’s interests and peer’s needs.
Literacy and math concepts are offered during gatherings and small group times, and are individualized to meet each child’s interest level and need based on development.
