Parent Involvement

Roseville Community School (RCS) is a parent participation school. We recognize that parents are the first and primary teachers in a child's life. We both need and appreciate the unique skills and talents that our parents contribute to the school environment. Parent involvement supports our belief that we learn best in a multi-aged community.

At RCS, students, parents, and teachers work together to create a dynamic learning environment. Parents act as facilitators in the classroom, helpers on the play ground, and model positive adult behavior. Each family is invited and encouraged to actively participate in the daily activities of the school in addition to general maintenance responsibilities throughout the year. This helps to foster knowledge about our school and creates ownership over the environment.

Parent contribution is vital to RCS. While most families are able to participate, we recognize that this is not always possible. We have provide various volunteer projects to accommodate pdifferent schedules and the availability of each family.
