Now Enrolling for Spring Semester!
RCS offers flexible learning programs for elementary homeschool families from K-5 across Roseville, Rocklin, and Placer County. Rooted in progressive, project-based learning and strong social-emotional foundations, our enrichment and core class options allow families to customize their child’s educational journey while enjoying the support of a collaborative alternative-learning community.
Our Kindergarten program blends foundational academics with hands-on, play-based learning. Children explore literacy, math, social studies, and science through meaningful projects, movement, outdoor exploration, and creative expression. Students build social-emotional skills, learn to collaborate, solve problems, and follow their curiosity—all within a nurturing, child-centered environment.
Perfect for homeschool families seeking a flexible, whole-child approach that honors developmental readiness and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
Our Younger Program supports elementary homeschool learners (Grades 1-2) with a balance of academic foundations, project-based learning, and opportunities for independence. Students explore literacy, math, science, social studies, and creative arts through hands-on experiences that connect learning to the real world. With small class sizes and flexible scheduling, children grow confidence, practice social-emotional skills, and take ownership of their learning in an engaging and collaborative environment.
Ideal for families in Roseville, Rocklin, and surrounding areas looking for an alternative education model rooted in curiosity and connection.
In our middle program students (Grades 2-3) explore academic concepts through hands-on projects, discussions, experiments, and authentic problem-solving. Social-emotional learning is woven into every part of the day, helping students practice communication, self-regulation, teamwork, leadership, and empathy — essential skills for adolescence and beyond.
The RCS Upper Program is designed for 4th–5th grade students who are ready for deeper inquiry, meaningful collaboration, and increasing independence. Our progressive learning environment emphasizes critical thinking, real-world problem solving, and strong social–emotional foundations—while maintaining the flexibility homeschool families value.
Students engage in hands-on academic projects, community-based learning, and creative exploration across subjects. They learn to ask thoughtful questions, design solutions, build and test ideas, and reflect on their learning. Through small-group instruction and individualized guidance, each child receives support at their developmental level.
