Roseville Community School provides flexible full-time and part-time K–6 options that combine progressive, project-based academics with hands-on enrichment and homeschool-friendly supports. Our programs nurture whole-child development — academic growth plus social and emotional learning — through small classes, multi-age collaboration, and real-world, creative experiences.

Which Program Placement is Right for Your Child?

At Roseville Community School, we don’t place children in traditional “grades.” Instead, we take a more holistic approach—looking at the child as a whole, considering social, emotional, and developmental readiness.

Here’s a general guide to how our multi-age programs align with traditional grade levels:

• Kindergarten– Typically includes children in Kindergarten and 1st grade

• Younger/Middle Program– Roughly equivalent to 1st/2nd grade and 2nd/3rd grade, respectively

• Upper Program – Usually 4th through 5th grade

We intentionally overlap between programs. The goal is to place children in cohorts where they’ll thrive—alongside peers with similar social/emotional development and readiness to participate in our community-centered learning environment.
